SAIC is actively interviewing hiring multiple Field Technicians with an Interim Secret clearance to support our customer at Ft. Meade in Maryland.

These individuals will be responsible for ensuring that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling mission success.

Daily responsibilities may include:

  • Working with little supervision in high volume / high visibility environments with time sensitive requirements.
  • Effective provisioning
  • Installation/configuration
  • Operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related DoDNet infrastructure
  • Working with Service Now ticketing system or similar platforms

**Shift will be from 10:30 p.m. EST to 7:00 a.m. EST M-F

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience with an Associate’s Degree in a related discipline; OR seven (7) years of experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
  • Knowledge in troubleshooting Windows-based workstations, applications, operating systems, and peripherals (including printers and scanners).
  • Thorough knowledge of windows 10 desktop operating system and prior migration experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge Home Directory and Profile Support Services.
  • Experience with DoD 365 Cloud Environment.
  • Experience installing and configuring software applications.
  • Working knowledge of provisioning new hardware for new and existing users, including Computer Image Management and software installation. Must have experience with system configuration manager (SCCM) and Patch management.
  • Working knowledge of encryption technologies like Bit locker.
  • Knowledge and/or experience working with Service Now ticketing system or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with little supervision in high volume / high visibility environments with time sensitive requirements.
  • Work independently and as part of a team. Ability to take direction and retain information.
  • Documenting workload using Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel) Ability to perform admin functions (Knowledge Base / Training)
  • Candidate must be client-focused, comfortable interfacing with Military and High ranking government personnel while maintain a high level of service.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Very attentive and detail-oriented.

 

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

  • CompTIA SEC+ CE
  • HDI - (DAST) Certifications required within 80 days of employment

 

REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:

  • Minimum Interim Secret Clearance
  • Active Secret Clearance preferred
