Job Description


The National Security Customer Group of SAIC is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support a transformational infrastructure program within the DoD.
The Deputy Program Manager  will be responsible for assisting th the Program Manager with  with establishing and maintaining the Program Management Office (PMO) for the contract and ensuring adequate resources (staff, facility, IT support, etc.) are in-place for successful contract execution. The Deputy PM will liason with customers and serve as PM in the PM's absence.  The DPM will assist the PM with the collection of data for daily, monthy, and quartely reports. The DPM will identify and implement industry best practices, enhancing processes/solutions, proposing alternatives, and highlighting potential risks, all in pursuit of optimizing the enterprise-wide IT service delivery across the contract.




  • An active TS Clearance with eligibility for SCI .
  • Bachelor's Degree and 15+ years of experience. 
  • Six years of current experience (i.e., within the last ten years) managing complex  projects that involve IT infrastructure (Data Center, Networks, Security, Applications, Service Desk/Desktop support) 
  • An active Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional  or Program Management Professional certification.


  • Master's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.  
  • Ten years of experience in a DoD environment performing in a subject area related to the Task Order Request (TOR) (e.g., IT management or computer science)
  • Twenty years of experience working as a contractor PM supporting Government  


Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
