SAIC is seeking an ADNS SME in San Diego, CA.

Job Description:

  • Serve as a technical focal point for hardware verification and software load /configuration for multiple variants of the Automated Digital Network System (ADNS) by performing System Operational and Verification Test (SOVT). 
  • Diagnosing system failures and isolating the source of problems between hardware components and software applications.
  • Load/configure network servers, routers, switches, and packet shaping devices in accordance with configuration tool kits while utilizing system checklists and/or load plans.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • 6 years of experience with a HS/GED degree OR Bachelors and two (2) years of related experience
  • Active DoD Security Clearance at a Secret level or higher within the past 24 months. Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Current CCNA certification.
  • Current CompTIA Sec + certification.
  • Experience with Navy Network systems (ADNS, CANES, CENTRIXS, ISNS, OR SCI-Networks) or other military networks
  • 3 or more years in a C5I or C4I- SR military or DoD environment performing system validation and repair.
  • Knowledge of networking and network protocols, command line skills and experience with Microsoft Windows Operating System, Linux, and Windows virtual machines (VM).
  • Knowledge of server virtualization principles and practices utilizing VMWare.   
  • Familiar with encryption devices to include: KG175 TACLANEs {Classis, E-100 (175E) and Micro (175D)} and KIV-7M, must be able to configure and ensure proper loading of the device.
  • Must understand Inter Rack Diagrams (IRDs) and Interconnect Diagrams (ICDs) for overall cable plant installation for the rack(s) into shipboard systems. 
  • Must have superb customer service support skills and ability to interact with the government customers, vendors, systems engineers, and fellow Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). 
  • Must be able to travel up to 50%
