Job Description: SAIC is hiring a PC Technician in Broomfield, CO to support the Army Corp of Engineers. The primary responsibility for this position is to support computer imaging, sanitizing, reimaging, asset receiving, shipping and inventory control of managed government furnished IT assets primarily supporting onboarding and offboarding activities of RITS contractors. Point of Contact for customers regarding inquiries/discrepancies relating to HSV assets and participate in, or and at times spearhead, the resolution of discrepancies of asset attributes and states.   Location: This position is onsite in Broomsfield, CO at an SAIC facility. Ability to work onsite is important because most of your work will be hands on working with the computers and peripherals.   Job Duties:
  • Images computers, updates and/or repairs existing systems and troubleshooting image and hardware, as well as sanitize returned computers, reimaging for reissuance
  • Troubleshoots printer, computer, and peripheral incidents, performs hardware and software diagnostics, coordinates needed repairs, resolves computer system problems, including coordination between users and components of a local area network, and participates in the evaluation of system configuration and software.
  • Manage Government Furnished IT Assets at the duty location and virtually in the IT Service Management system Configuration Management Database (CMDB), to ensure accuracy and quality of asset management data.
  • Enters and maintains all required data in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Ships/Receives contractor teleworker assets for the RITS Program
  • Inventories, identifies and follows up on discrepancies found during ticket processing, or from report analysis.
  • Functions as a point of contact regarding inquiries related to government furnished IT assets, and all other information related to IT asset hardware management at the HSV location.
  • Maintains managed IT asset attributes of managed IT assets.  Understand basic IT components (infrastructure, software, PCs, Databases) and how they interact with other ITIL practices and other IT industry processes.
  • Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.


Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
  • Associate's degree and one year of relevant experience.
  • Will also consider a high school diploma and 3 years of experience in lieu of an Associate's degree.
  • Experience supporting Windows 7, Windows 10, and MS Office 2013 Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience using ServiceNow.
  • Ability to load an image on Laptops and sanitize IT equipment
  • Basic Information Technology (IT) principles and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience working in Department of Defense
  • Ability to work and succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Be highly motivated to learn independently as well as in a team environment
Certifications Required: CompTIA Security+ certification is required prior to first day of employment. Clearance Requirement: US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.  A minimum of an Interim Secret clearance will be required to begin work.

Target salary range: $25,001 - $50,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
