SAIC is looking for a Radio Frequency (RF) Systems Engineer to perform activities related to EW prototyping.This position will be located in the Indianapolis, IN area and require teleworking.
Engineering support will include: concept of operations formulation, requirements definition, analysis and engineering, system architecting, system analysis and design, interface and architectures, validation and verification, systems integration, system op. performance analysis and decision analysis. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions including enhancements adn Lifecycle updates that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications. Provides specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
The candidate will apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts. Contributes to development of new principles and concepts. Participates with government custeomr dn engineering staff to establish strategic plans and objectives. Makes observations and recommends for administrative or project work matters and ensures effective achievement of program, project, or organizational objectives. Will work on unusually complex technical RF problems and provide solutions for the product team to consider. We are looking for concepts that are highly innovative and ingenious.
Position will require 25% travel.
