JOB DESCRIPTION: Come be a part of the SAIC team in Fort Meade MD, where we help address the nation’s most pressing and complex challenges. SAIC works with our customers on missions that strengthen security and safety and protect the basic values of our society. We have an opening for a motivated, dedicated and energetic Sr REDHAWK Software Engineer to support a recently awarded program supporting the Intelligence Community.

Selected candidate/s will design and implement software solutions of moderate complexity utilizing the REDHAWK Framework to include designing and implementing new features, optimizations, improvements and bug fixes to the REDHAWK SDR Framework.   Required to work individually or as part of a team to review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements, document test results, and resolve software problem reports. Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.  Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure the work is completed in accordance


TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and ten (10) years or more experience; or fourteen (14) years total experience.  A minimum of eight (8) years developing within the REDHAWK SDR framework is required.
