SAIC is looking for a Disaster Recovery Specialist to join our Federal Financial team in Washington D.C. This individual will performs day-to-day activities required to maintain business continuity, such as overseeing and reviewing testing and implementation of software, data systems, and data networks to ensure that the integrity and security of all electronic data and data systems are adequately protected.  Facilitates the preparation of an organization-wide business resumption plan.  Assists in the coordination and establishment of disaster recovery programs and business resumption planning across all enterprise platforms.  Coordinates and monitors simulation testing across all platforms.  Designs and administers business continuity programs to include policies, standards, guidelines, training programs, and a viable quality assurance process for disaster recovery.  Coordinates the development of Information System Contingency Plan (ISCP) for each information system and business unit, covering all assets necessary for recovery. Support OIG audit or any other business continuity audits.

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of 5 years of related experience performing IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) and Business Continuity activities, such as DR testing, policy and plan development, and facilitation.

Basic knowledge of business impact analysis process.

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
